The foundation for the establishment of the Vráž sanatorium was the chateau built in 1875 in the neo-Gothic style by the Czech noble family of Lobkowicz, who had their summer residence until 1926. The sanatorium was founded by one of the best Czech neurologists by Professor Vítkem in 1936. Right from its inception specialized in spa rehabilitation mainly of nervous diseases, later also of locomotive organs. The natural healing resource is a simple earthy peat. Since 1992 the sanatorium has been privatized. At present, it is sought not only by spa guests from the Czech Republic but also from abroad. Its high professional level, pleasant and peaceful environment and cozy "home" atmosphere are the reason why spa guests like to come back repeatedly.
